Great look and great quality but...
I love these boots. They are very stylish, functional and made from very good quality. I really put these bad boys to work during my recent trip to China and they served me well. The only issue I have with them is that the back portion of the heel tends to get uncomfortable and long socks are REQUIRED for best comfort possible. A very cool thing about these boots is that even if it gets scuffed up a bit, it adds character and looks even better.

Great boots!
I have owned many pairs of the crepe soled Desert Boots. Weighing 250 lbs., I tend to wear out the crepe soles quickly. The lug soles on the Desert Trooper give more support and last longer... and I still get the great, traditional styling. Please continue to offer the lug soles.

Good looking shoe but not wide enough for me.
I have a wide foot. I bought these hoping that they might fit given their relatively unstructured design. I was wrong and gave them to my 24-year old son. He loves them. Why don't manufacturers produce more shoes in wide widths?

Good looking comfortable boot especially for wet weather
This is a nice looking comfortable boot. Walking around New York City in damp wet weather is much better with dry feet which these boots insure. They can be worn with Chinos and are acceptable in most restaurants unlike runing shoes which are judged to be too casual. The soles and heels are nearly white and provide great traction.

For men only
I love this boot and was so excited to find in on women's branch of Clark's on line. Whent he boots arrived they were a men's size 7.5 and of course the return was sans shipping cost. Waste of money for the female half of the population.

Everyday Up-dated Classic. Great fit & Look - very Versatile
I love these shoes. They are great for many occasions -stylish with a are a pair of jeans - or can be dressed up. They are an essential for travelling because they are so versatile ( really helps when packing light) - I have several pairs! The classic look will never go out of style. They are rugged but extremely comfortable - perfect for the city or the country! Great price, great fit, great updated classic look & versatile. Beautiful leather as well!!!
