Cute and fairly comfy Great style for spring and summer. Love the heel height and the velcro strap that makes it easy to put them on and take them off. Comfy, but not as comfortable as they felt in the store when I tried them on. No break-in needed. Color is true to website, but I wouldn't call it light gray. March 12, 2014
Great Shoe! Very comfortable. I bought this shoe in black and gray and have received several compliments. The black is not a deep black it's charcoal. What Clark's calls gray is actually a taupe. I highly recommend the comfort of this shoe. April 2, 2014
Very Comfy shoe! This shoe is not only sylish but also very comfortable. You can dress it up or down which I really like. Great for travel also. August 7, 2013
Could have been better I ordered this shoe because I was looking for a taupe gray dress sandal. I very much liked the color and feel of the leather. The shoe appear to be well made. There were two main reasons I returned this shoe. First, I am one of those "old-fashioned" (at age 33) women who still wears hosiery with dress shoes. As I was trying the shoes on, the velcro caught on my hose, and I could see that I would go through a lot of hosiery wearing these shoes. I admit that the velcro closure is quick and convenient, but I really feel that it cheapens the style of the shoe and makes it seem old and matronly, in addition to being damaging to hose. The other reason I chose not to keep the shoes was related to the shoe width in the toe area. The shoe felt very narrow (and I don't consider myself to have wide feet). The sides of the peep-toe opening rubbed my toes as well. It was extremely uncomfortable. It is unfortunate because I did like the shoe, but these had to go back. July 31, 2013
Pretty and pretty comfortable Comfortable overall, but still leaves the soles and arches of feet a little achy at the end of a long day on one's feet. Attractive and well made upper design gently hugs feet and keeps them comfortable in great nubuck. They are a touch wider than normal sizing, but that works in my favor. Love that it is NOT a platform heeled shoe. It's stylish and suitable for a professional look. However, the heel height is a little odd or ackward for me; it could have been better a touch higher or a touch lower. While initially my feet feel great, by the end of few hours until the end of the day the soles of my feet get increasingly a little achy and sore, which was particular unusual for me as I usually wear heels with less padded soles and can have achy calves, but not feet. Still think they are well made with wonderfully soft materials and an attractive stacked heel. August 15, 2013
Most comfortable shoes I ever owned I bought this pair while I was vacationing, it is the most comfortable shoes ever. There is no need for breaking in. Highly recommend this pair, I might also add that it is very stylish. Got a few compliments. June 10, 2013
Comfortable and classic Really comfy, hugs your foot nicely - suitable for casual to dresses, stylish and neutral putty color. June 2, 2013
Very comfortable shoe and nice styling for informal office wear I have narrow feet and would love to see this in that size range. But the medium seems to run just narrow enough that I can make it do. July 2, 2013
footbed stitching = terribly painful for extended walking I want to love these shoes. I really do. I've tried to love them, but I just can't. I was out shopping one afternoon and was wearing shoes that I hated for lots of walking (spur of the moment shopping trip, poorly planned). I walked into Clarks, tried on the Evant Julie and loved them. I wore them out of the store and was thrilled. Over the next few weeks, I wore them often and would notice on days when I had lots of walking, the stitching along the footbed would dig into the bottoms of my feet making them unbearably painful. I've never experienced this problem with other shoes. The Clarks label at the heel is raised and the stitching around the edges is deeper into the footbed. It seems like an awkward design that is probably intended for better comfort, but from my experience it just kills my feet. I've had them about 2 months, worn them maybe a dozen times, but likely won't wear them again. May 17, 2013
great shoes I loved these shoes, however, I'm needing a knee replacement and having trouble with my feet too, so I sent these back, because I wouldn't be able to wear them. I'm supposed to stay off heels. Thank you April 2, 2013
