Ready to buy again! Perfect comfort in a sturdily constructed pair of shoes. Within days of receipt I vacationed in the UK for 11 days. Over 50 miles walked on hard and sometimes wet and uneven pavement put them to the test. I wore them every day and my feet were always dry and comfortable. They seem to be styled primarily for casual dress but I wouldn't hesitate to match them with a sport coat and a tie. Size is true and they are comfortable right out of the box. It seems that regular polish with a good wax should keep them serviceable for years to come. Quite a value! November 15, 2014
Extremely comfortable shoes! I had purchased this same shoe in brown a few months ago. They were very comfortable right out of the box. So I decided to replace my old black shoes with the same style. Some people may think that's weird, but for me, comfort is #1 priority. Don't get me wrong, the styling is fine too - casual but nice looking. I have wide feet (8 EEE) and often have trouble finding my size available and finding a comfortable shoe. I bought 8 Extra Wide and they are perfect for me. November 14, 2014
Very comfortable shoe No shoe has come close to my first clark shoe I bought in the 1990s , those days shoes were made in UK, very durable, comfortable and I used them till the soles developed holes in them. This shoe so far appears to be comfortable second but you will have to wait at least 6 yrs to see if it is as durable! August 15, 2014
Extremely comfortable shoe I recently developed plantar fasciitis and was in need of more comfortable shoes to wear with my new sole inserts. I bought this shoe in brown and liked it so much I bought a pair in black as well. They are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I wear them to work with slacks and sport coat and with jeans on the weekends. July 26, 2014
Disappointed I liked the look of the shoe, but it never felt comfortable. The upper part of the shoe seemed rigid and stiff. I thought it would become softer, but never did. It also seemed narrow for a wide compared to the Senner Place that out of the box looked narrower. The materials looked a bit inferior for a Clark's product. August 22, 2014
This product has great features Very comfortable however the lást paír i purchased online however aré not the same as the ones i buy at the store - not as comfortable July 29, 2014
Great shoes!! Very comfortable. I will purchase more of them in the future. Love them! July 24, 2014
Soooooooo Comfortable Clarks are the most comfortable shoes. These Portland2s are wonderful. As with all my Clarks, oh so comfortable right out of the box. It is like having pillows under my feet. The Portland2s are light and well made. Great quality, great comfort. July 7, 2014
A good shoe, but not as great as the original Portland 1. I have been wearing different styles of Clark shoes for over 10 years, mainly purchasing the Porland 1 shoe. I mix it up on occasion to try differing styles. I recently bought the Portland II due the Portland 1 being unavailable. It's a good shoe but not as comfortable for all day wear as the original Portland, fits a little narrower and the insole is not as padded or durable as the original Portland. Please bring back the Portland 1. June 27, 2014
4th pair of Clarks This is my forth pair of Clarks shoes and I have loved them all. The original pair finally gave up and separated from the sole after 15+ years so I bought this pair, which I had not found in stores. They were comfortable from day one. April 23, 2014
Excellent quality for the price. I bought my first Clarks shoes while in Sacramento, California (about 130 miles from where I live). I was unable to find a store in Northern Nevada that sold Clarks shoes exclusively. As a result, I did something that I almost never do - order a product from the internet. I was satisfied with the ease of ordering, the shipping, and the price (I was previously given a 20% off coupon). May 15, 2014
Hard to get! Even from Clark's stores. I'm glad I persevered and found it online. Great for casual days at work--very stylish. They're so much more comfortable than anything I've worn in the last decade. April 2, 2014
Uppers good, soles less durable Had to go up 1/2 size to get the width I needed. Have bought Clark's for 25-30 years. Earlier years the uppers were a bit more pliable and the soles were more durable. Later years, the uppers lasted fine but the soles separated and could not be re-soled. January 15, 2014
Comfortable like walking on a cloud---love them These are the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. The fit is perfect and they feel great. December 22, 2013
The Portland2 is not the same shoe as the original Portland I have had 3 pair of the original Portlands and am dissapointed in the Portland2. The Portland2 is different in overall construction, the insert is thinner and cheaper that the original "Travel Trek" insert and the heel pull strap is missing. Also I have a pair of the Clark UNStructured 35105 that has developed a click in the left shoe like the internal support structure has failed. Too bad the soles wear out so much faster that the uppers! February 4, 2014
