all my shoes from clarks co.I love thier products the last one I did order no breath makes the feet very watery July 1, 2014
Poor Insoles and pretty uncomfortable all around I tried on a bunch of Clarks shoes at a store and found my size in Clarks is consistently a size 9. So when I ordered a size 9 in these I was a surprised to find how loose they were. I guess this makes sense because if a shoe is a little loose I could just tie them up a little tighter and it wouldn't be a noticeable problem. Except these shoes don't have laces (the reason I got them) so I couldn't compensate. This really isn't a problem with the shoe itself just the style: slip on shoes have less wiggle room. And they weren't THAT much bigger, certainly no more than a half size too big. If this was the end of the "problems" I had with the shoe, I would be quite pleased. But.... These insoles are AWFUL. So much worse than all the other Clarks shoes. I really wasn't expecting this. No problem, I'll just buy some third party insoles, right? Unfortunately, these insoles can't be removed! Whoever decided to use permanent, uncomfortable insoles ruined these shoes. I removed the insoles after much pain (literally had to use box cutters) and eventually inserted some third party insoles: they aren't perfect, but they are at least wearable. And in case you were wondering, the factor insoles are about 1/16" foam on the rubber bottom. July 15, 2014
