How To Size & Fit
Your foot size is anything but static--feet can grow and change throughout one's life. Aging, pregnancy, weight fluctuations, and other factors contribute to a changing foot size. To ensure you're wearing the proper shoe size, have your foot measured every few years. Visit any Clarks retail location to have a sales associate measure your feet.
Once you know your correct size, determine your best fit: The shoe should not be too snug or too loose. You should be able to move your foot slightly - wiggling and curling your toes, for example - once the shoe is on. Your feet should not feel pinched or constricted.
Take a few steps to make sure the shoe conforms properly to your foot and does not irritate or chafe your skin. Lastly, determine that there is enough room in the toe box, both standing still and walking - there should be a slight amount of space between the top of the shoe and your big toe, enough to accommodate movement.
