3rd pair of Wallabees I have bought for my boyfriend. He LOVES how they can be worn dressy or causual. Super comfortable and the dark leather is beautiful. He will be very happy when he opens these this Christmas!

Desperate for this style in the women's version, I bought the smallest size in the men's. The length was good at size 6 for my 6.5 feet, but it appears slightly wide outside and was a little loose in the fit, so there's space that needed to be filled in by a thicker orthotic. Other reviewers are right that Wallabees no longer had removable insoles. I had to add another liner anyway, as the original Clarks liners are too slippery, and there isn't enough grip to keep my feet from moving inside the already slightly loose shoe. Walking in the Clarks liners was painful even at the hips. had the same problem with the lighter shade suede pair I've had in the same style for 3 years now, so I replaced that, and they feel better now when I walk. I've been looking for this honey brown leather in the women's version for ages, but it seems that Clarks no longer manufactures them for women; so this version will have to do.

Over the past 12 years I have owned 6 pairs of Wallabee Boots in beeswax. The construction, fit, and look have always remained consistently great so year after year I would always order another pair.
Unfortunately, this year, the Clarks company changed the shoe completely. It is poorly made and very uncomfortable. As soon as you pull them out of the box you can tell that they are different; they are lighter, the leather has a more of a plastic feel to it, and the once comfy insole is non-existent. They were returned as soon as they were opened.
I wish companies would respect quality construction instead of trying to compete with big box chain stores. I will no longer be purchasing shoes from Clarks until their product quality improves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andrew295 Heel cracked/collapsed after less than 1 year
Love the comfort, seem well made. But the heel cracked less than a year after I bought them (and I didn't wear them at all during the summer months.) The crack affected the support, which meant my ankle tilted and my knee ended up sore. I own three pairs of Clark's shoes and love 'em, mostly. I can't return this pair (had them too long according to the policy.) On that matter, the policy says you can only return unworn products. Whaa? How would you know that it needed to be returned if it you never wore it? Wish the company would repair shoes itself. I'd pay to fix because of the overall comfort.

Truly a pleasure to wear. I wear them for both casual and dress. Many complements I have had in both dress and casual wear wanting to know where I got them.

Crepe sole is thicker on one side than the other and body of shoe is off-center on the sole. Problem is severe enough so that physical therapist has warned that the shoes should not be worn, lest they aggravate existing back problems.

First off I was delighted to receive my shoes a day or so early ,cool points. I have been told the shoes may run small so I ordered a half size larger than normal and the fit is great. A very comfortable shoe indeed, excellent for the laid back and casual. I actually ordered a second pair because I was so pleased with the first. The funny thing is , I wear the other ones (blue leather) more because these here are so nice I don't want to dirty them. Thumbs up

Rated 3 out of 5 by doug545 to bad
It is just to bad that Clark has decided to lower the quality of this shoe. If they could not make money raise the price not the quality. Start with the full length removable inter lining is gone. The shoe is no longer lined and has less support. If you can compare the shoe you have not to the new model. The many great reviews are for shoes you can no longer buy. Get it together Clark.

This shoe is a classic it is a beautiful shoe. The shoes look much better in person than on the picture. Everything is perfect, size and color.

Ahhh......the Wallabee Beeswax Boot! What can i say about thus boot thar hasn't been said time and time again over the many years. This is in my opinion the most versatile shoe anyone could ever own. The true comfort lies in it's simplicity.
Plenty of room in the toe box for any foot and toenails to relax in. Soft cushiony sole to tackle any terrain with ease that just lasts forever. Easy to put on with it's." wide mouth" opening, but once you lace-em-on,they engulf your feet like no other shoe making them hard to (want to) take off. The Wallabee was rhe first shoe that ever made me smile after the fist step but certainly not the last Clarks shoe .I own 20 and counting .

Wish they didn't cost so much and could still be bought at a local store like back in the 70's. Also wish they came in more suede colors, again like in the 70's. Still the most comfortable shoes ever made. Can be worn for everything.
