I was somewhat disappointed that this shoe was not more comfortable. The flat sole and weak padding in the insert do not make this shoe comfortable when you are on your feet most of the day. The quality of the shoe and the style are great. Silver is the new black.

I'm still breaking mine in, but I listened to other reviewers and ordered a size smaller than I typically order in Clarks shoes. They fit—although the leather is still a bit stiff, I'm sure they'll break in just like my other Clarks. They're a great neutral grey and look good with jeans. They even come with alternate lace colors.

I knew it was the right pair when my teenaged son asked if he could wear them. He didn't realize that these shoes are built for old men, just that they look hip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adeep Got myself an amazing pair of shoes.
This is my first purchase from Clarks and I must say I am truly in love with these shoes. Color (light Tan) looks beautiful and the white lace and sole lining adds up to the beauty. They are very sleek and look very good on jeans and chinos.
The only mistake I did while buying these was I read reviews from other buyers who recommended buying a full size down. I always wear a 9.5 and just because I read the reviews, I ordered 9 to be on the safer side and guess what, 9 did not fit me well and I'll have to get them exchanged.
The shoes are true to size so buy according to the size that you regularly wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Specto Bigger Than Expected - Great Once I Got the Right Size
I own 2 pairs of Clarks dress shoes. Both are size 10. I ordered a 10 in this shoe, and it looked like a clown shoe on me, it was way too big. I took the advice from previous reviews, went down a few sizes, and order a 8.5. The 8.5 is a little snug, but fits good enough.
Great shoe, just make sure to order at least 1.5 sizes down from your normal size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Gentian12K It is always risky to buy shoes on line. Even with a brand that has worked in the past.
I have bought four sets of Clark shoes; three oxfords and one boots. This one came narrow and long. The shoe in the picture must have been a size 9. The size 12 seemed to be the same template as a smaller size only longer, which made it narrow. It was described as wide. Nope! It may have been wide for a size 9 in the spot where the toe joints are but simply extending the toe box from that point does not work for larger sizes. The length was also about a 13 1/2. Unless your feet run small, give this a pass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JBG618 Too Big
I have been wearing Clarks for years. I've had 2 or 3 pairs of Wallabees and a couple pairs of Desert Boots. I'm a 10.5 and all my Clarks have fit perfectly. I love these shoes but was extremely disappointed in the inaccurate sizing.
I ordered a pair of 10.5 Farli Walks before a big presentation, 2nd day air so they got there in time and they were huge–a waste of $20 in shipping and I didn't even get to wear them in the meeting. Another meeting the following week, so I ordered a pair of 9.5s 2nd day air. Way too big again and another wasted $20. So I ordered a pair of 9's because I'm loyal and persistent. These seemed to fit but they are still big.
Not sure what the deal is and why the sizing is so off, but again, I'm very disappointed in the company and have lost my loyalty to the brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mostskier Black is more of a blue
This shoe was a great fit and was very comfortable. Be warned that the black is more of a dark blue then a true black. If it actually was black it would be a great shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 4ESH Blue or black??
I ordered these shoes expecting black, but they arrived and are really a nice dark Navy.
I ordered them online because I couldn't find the black style I wanted at any local stores that carry Clark's. They arrived quickly, within 2 days of the wedding I wanted them for (with black slacks, BTW)
With only 2 days to spare, I had to make the decision to either wear them anyway, or go buy another brand in black.
By the way - was going to post a photo but it wouldn't let me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VinInCT Like the Shoe, But Had to Return Them
Ordered these on line as I normally do. I really like the shoe. Not too dressy, not too casual - but I had to return them because they run large. Clarks shoe sizing baffles me - Depending upon the shoe I can be any one of 4 sizes ranging from 9.5-11. They no longer have the size I need. Only gave them 3 stars for that reason.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SeanF Very stylish, comfortable shoes
These shoes have a very soft nubuck exterior, which already feel broken in right out of the box. The soles have a nice cushion, but we'll see how long they last. My desert boots are 5 years old and the gum sole is still very much intact. These shoes were a good buy and are very sharp looking.

This is a great functioning shoe that looks great too. For someone who does a lot of walking it's perfect. Can be worn both casually and professionally. I wear them with jeans as well as slacks. Quality shoe that can take a beating and still looks great.

I've worn these for several days now and I'm happy with my purchase. Third pair of Clarks and probably won't be the last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortiseverything Clark's at its best!
The quality and fit of this shoe is amazing. Exactly what you'd expect from Clark's. Don't be afraid of the red color. It's more of a brick red as opposed to fire engine. The shoe runs true to size, and the leather is first-class. I'm contemplating getting another pair in another color. Perfect for Spring, thru Fall.
