Rated 1 out of 5 by Debr Can not get color Smooth Tan Leather
I have purchased tan smooth leather at the Clark's store in Boston and they had to ship the correct size to me. Came in Brown, not tan. Another pair shipped - brown not tan. Ordered online and they came in Brown. Returned and shipped Brown again. I now have 2 pair of brown with no return shipping labels as they were sent back with both original shippings. Stuck with 2 pair BROWN shoes.

These shoes fit well, look good, and I'd buy from Clark's again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TexasDoug As another buyer said, the shoe is poorly designed and they wear out very quickly.
The rubber shoe soul is too thin in the front and does not extend far enough out on the front of the toe. As a result when you walk the front toe leather touched the ground and scuffs the leather. This wears through the leather very quickly and makes the shoe appearance look very worn. This is a very bad design and makes the shoe worthless in my opinion. I had to polish them after every use and the toe still quickly looked very worn. With regular use these shoes will not last a month. I took them to a shoe repair place to ask for a recommended repair solution. There was no feasible recommendation.

This shoe is a familiar style but with detailed stitching that's different and yet has the traditional look in loafer.

I love the look of this Clarks, but it didn't fit my husband even though I got it in his size, I believe it is how it is made, but it is also a very classy shoes, but we had to return it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Elina Quality Issues
I ordered Ashmont Race driving moccasin for my husband as he used to get Clarks' shoes because of the excellent quality. Not this time. He started wearing them about 10 days ago and as he has been working out of the city, he had no other shoes to switch to. So, the result is bleeding and swollen heel and now he is with his old pair of Clarks, although I bought them for him 3 years ago.

This si a wonderful all purpose casual shoe. Fit and comfort are top-notch. Can go dressy if you like but I prefer keeping it casual.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Candie76 My 16 year old son's favorite shoe!
This is his favorite shoe, but not mine (his mother). He wears these shoes everyday to school with his school uniform. They go nicely with his khaki trousers. The issue is, they do not last very long when worn everyday like he does. The stitching comes loose, and even the leather wears thin on the toe and holes develop. He got a new pair last spring, and I purchased a replacement pair at Christmas. He loves these shoes and I got them for $60ish after discounts and free shipping. If he didn't love them so much, I probably would not have spent that money on another pair. He is more careful with the new pair, and takes better care of them since he now sees how they do not hold up that well. I do recommend this product... only with the understanding that they are really nice shoes, but they really can't hold up to someone who is hard on their shoes (like my son). They will need to be taken care of to remain looking nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GHoward25 Change of Manufacturer
I have bought and worn this style for the past 3 years I have purchased 6 pairs both in Brown and Black. On the last pair of Black I noticed that either the manufacturer had changed or the way they had previously been made had changed. The top stiching had changed position and had been made shorter which resulted in the shoe being tight and uncomfortable on my instep. Like I said I had been wearing a buying this style shoe for over 3 years and this was the first time that I had a problem. They also change the leather insole in the shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kipp I just bought my 4th pair.
I prefer driving moccasin style shoes. These have a dress-casual appearance that is suitable for wearing to work.
I keep buying these shoes because they're pretty much just what I want at a good price.
My only complaint about the shoe is that it could really use some rubber, or extra thick leather at the front. Most of the ones I've worn out have worn a hole at the front, which is primarily, I think, walking on cement, especially when wet.

Worn 3 times, leather is cracking on the right shoe, the right shoe squeaks as you walk. They were on sale and now I know why.

by Jacob123455 Holes already
I purchased a pair of shoes (Order number: 01726020) in early Sept. of this year. Unfortunately, there is already a gaping hole in the front end. The shoes are not worn each and every day, and should not have a hole this early during my ownership. I would appreciate either of the following:
(1) a full refund
(2) a replacement pair.
Thank you in advance,
