Rated 1 out of 5 by SACW Very uncomfortable
This shoe is too narrow and the insoles have no softness at all. I was told by one of the sales associates that it will loosen up. I have worn them for a week and a half and they still are too tight. This has been the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. I always feel as if my toes can't lay naturally in the shoe, especially where the pinky toe is. This was a complete waste of money for me.

I'v e wanted a pair for years and now that I have a pair, I look forward to getting the same shoe in suede. The Trek is an affordable, quality shoe, that's comfortable and stylish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moose This is shoe to buy for casual style and comfort.
This is my third desert shoes over the years. One brown and the other two black. They look great with jeans and casual pants, the comfort level is absolutely amazing. Enough of a sole for walking and standing for long periods without your feet aching.
When will I see them in a dark grey color?

the first week i had these, i had to wear other shoes every other day because they were so stiff! there's plenty of room around the toes, but the tongue, right under the laces, was extremely tight. i had to use a shoe horn for the first time in my life when i bought these (in store, Glendale Galleria). fortunately, the salesman let me keep it. i had to use it for about a week and a half, until the shoes softened up a bit. but now they're extremely comfortable. love 'em.
this is my 2nd pair of Clarks; still have my first pair - lasted 5 years and just need to get resoled. i'm holding on to them for that reason, but thought i'd try a new style when i saw these ones. keep up the great work and excellent craftsmanship, Clarks!

by Daniel93 My suede
My suede looked a bit weird and the shoe felt a bit weird than it usually does. I got no tag like the ones that comes with the desert Clarks. However, this shoe is still the most comfortable and stylish shoe. Got compliment on it, like always, had a person stopped me asking where I got them and what type of shoes are they lol. The best from the UK, only thing I'd like now is the Kickers, those shoes are also pretty dope. Clarks will always have my heart though lol. I always have to have at least on in my possession.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VI73Rasta My favorite brand of shoes, all around great
I'm from the VI,St.Thomas to be exact. From the time I was a kid I always liked Clarks, they were worn by the Rastamen mainly. I have a pair of leather treks I bought in 99 and I still wear them to this day and they still look great. I have around 9 pairs of Clarks Desert Treks and 2 Desert boots all still looking brand new. Always clean my shoes and wrap them and place them back in their respectable boxes after each use.

Feels good breaking in my new pair of Desert Trek boots for a trip to Europe. This is my second pair, my first lasted a good 14 years and I may still re-sole them as they are so comfy and look so cool.

Always liked this shoe since I was in high school, so when I saw that Clark's still made them after all these years, I had to buy a pair. I always get compliments and inquiries from people who see them. "Where did you get them?" "Are they comfortable?" Yes, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I own, and I wear them with khakis and jeans on weekends. (I wear uniforms during the week; if I could I wear them during the week, I definitely would. These are shoes that will ALWAYS be in style; a proven winner. Clark's: don't even think about discontinuing this shoe. If you buy them, you'll love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Megaton79 Desert Clark's are the bezt for: flexibility, style & comfort!
Am a Lion that haz been wearing Clark's since 17yrs old in Jamaica & haven't stopped since. Bezt shoe ever b/c of flexibility (can be worn to any event), style (women go crazy for it), comfort (makes Dr. Scholls feel like sandpaper) & above all durability. If The Creator waz to design a shoe thiz would be it!

I had several pairs of these in the 70's and 80's and I always loved them. My new pair is exactly like the original: comfortable, looks great with jeans or khakis, and the quality is fantastic. I would highly recommend these to anyone who has never tried them. If you've had them in the past you don't need my recommendation to know how good they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GregM Great shoe. I highly recommend!
This is my 2nd pair of Desert Treks. I wore the others for years and didn't want to move on to another shoe once they began to wear out. I do a lot of travel and these are great shoes that travel well. Very comfortable and durable. I generally wear a size 9 shoe, but in these an 8 1/2 fits well.
