Rated 5 out of 5 by Cari26 Comfortable on challenging feet
I've owned a pair of these shoes in a taupe 10W for over a year and wear them mostly in cooler weather, as they are not "summer sneakers." They're great walking shoes for my feet with multiple issues (bunion, hammertoe, arthritis...you name it!) I can wear the shoes for extended periods of time without experiencing pain. They are supportive, yet still look stylish. Looking for another color to purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ealine3 Great product, but the narrows have become too wide
I have had multiple pairs of these shoes. They are stiff aat first but wear great. Initially just wear corn cushions on the small toe. My complaint is this, the narrow has gotten wider and wider. I got my initial pair about 5 years ago and still have them. They were a medium and fit my foot perfectly without having to add extra to my shoe for them to fit. Now the narrow shoes are wider than the mediums were. They never fit as well. Also, the extra padding under the heel unsed to be removable, now it is glued. This is uncomfortable. Please make them removable again and please consider people who have narrow feet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FreidaD rather heavy and bulky
I can't speak to the quality of the shoe because I did return it. I found the shoe to be stiff and clunky. I wanted a waterproof shoe that my teen could travel with (limited bags). I think a waterproof sneaker will be better for that purpose. But still love Clarks.

I really wanted to like these shoes. Tried in house and adjusted to the short tongue and decided to keep. First walk outside had me limping because shoe rubs on seam line. Tried to soften seam line to no avail. Really wanted to like this shoe, now I am stuck with unwearable pair. Will go back to other brand for walking shoe.

Love the look of the shoe but it is like walking in wooden shoes. No bend - first uncomfortable Clark shoe I have ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RAPC The first pair I ordered, I Loved the all day comfort of this shoe.
This time, I ordered 2 pair: 1 for myself & 1 for daughter. She rec her shoes & were comfortable & shock absorbent. I sent my pair bk as they were not cushiony/shock absorbent to walk in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SueW65 Have them in every color. Please bring them to us in Dark Brown.
Love, Love, Love these sneakers by Clarks. I have them in the navy blue and the white/black combo, and am ordering them in the all black. I always have to break in new shoes, usually with considerable pain and band aides, but not these. "Broken in" comfort from day one! My orthotics fit great in these sneakers once I remove the supplied inserts. True to size. Casual wear - walking, shopping, every day and even look great when wearing them to the office. A dark brown pair would round out my collection perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gina6 This product is smaller than before
This is my third pair of Wave Treks, and they fit much smaller than the previous pairs. Is Clarks making their shoes smaller?I own several different pairs of your shoes, and none of them fit this small. And, no, I have not gained any weight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carolyn57 light weight but very sturdy
I love Clark Wave shoes! These have a thick sole and were comfortable for walking long distances over European cobble streets. At first, I slipped forward in the shoe on steep downhills, but the insert is removable and I was able to insert my orthotics which helped hold my foot back. The opening is a tiny bit wide, so I wasn't able to lace them any tighter under my ankle, but with the my custom orthotics I think they'll be fine. They are waterproof and very warm with wool socks.

Finally I found the PERFECT shoe for my feet. I have worn these every single day since I got them. They are water proof which makes them great! I love them because my feet don't hurt in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tomassa25 One problem
Only problem I have with this shoe the tongue is not long enough it hits right a top of lace and irritates my foot. I use bandaids and then I can wear shoes otherwise great shoe. Other people may not have this issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by acidtongueCMU leftg shoe's footbed is tipped
I have one pair of black and two of blue. Two pair have the same problem. I had to jury rig the footbed/cushion of each left shoe because they tipped my foot/ankle inward. I returned one pair for the same reason. I sat them on the counter and you could see the tip. Just the left foot. Also have noticed if my weight is up 10 pounds the left shoe is uncomfortable in the width at the center of the shoe near the arch. I have walked many miles in these shoes and although I have survived them I wish they were manufactured correctly. I typically can not say enough good about Clark

Rated 5 out of 5 by DogsInTheRain Great looking, well fitting waterproof shoe
I purchased these after reading a review from a fellow Seattle-ite. I just took them out of the box and they're great! I have a narrow fit and can only wear New Balance or Clark's. But, New Balance has nothing in waterproof. So, after walking in the rain with them today, I believe I've found the best of all three - looks, fit, and waterproof. I also have custom orthotics and they fit just fine after I replace the removable footbed. I would tell others that, unlike the 'sneaker' Clark's describes them as, they're much sturdier, than that, with a rigid sole. That'll make them safe for hiking trails. Here I go, out to walk the dogs in the rain!
