Great shoe, but runs small
I really love the shoes, but they run small. Ordered a larger size and am very happy with them. A comfortable ballet flat had been hard to find, now I have one.

I had purchased a pair of Grayson Erica shoes from a brick & mortar store so I should have realized they were a tad small, although they were a half size up from what I usually wear. Although they were a bit snug, I do love them and ordered another pair a full size larger than I usually wear. I will wear the smaller ones until they're "shot" and then move on to the larger ones. As others have written, the first time I wore them I walked in wet grass and they developed a white line. I was devastated. But I got home and took a cloth with a little dish soap/water and dabbed the line and it disappeared. Whew!

Comfortable right out of the box.
I've been looking for a ballet flat that was comfortable and didn't kill the back of my heels. These shoes did the trick. They look nice, are very soft, and have nice cushioning. I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the price is a bit high.

love love love
The nude is perfect! Not only does the shoe appear to be pre-treated (coffee or water drops came right off when it dried) but it is so comfortable. The cushioned footbed is soft and comfortable when pounding the pavement.
I love and adore this shoe! I hope they continue to sell them each year.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever had. Very soft and comfortable! I bought both black and pink.

These shows are very comfortable, fit true to size. BUT they started to show signs of wear almost immediately. The backs are scuffed and the toe has started to show discoloration from my toes rubbing the inside. I don't think they would last very long with regular wear.

They don't last long but while you have them they're a great shoe.
I have three pairs of the gold, one pair of coral, one light pink, and three black. The black of lasted the longest, the coral have scratches and I have no way to repair them. I took them into Clark's store and they said there was nothing I could do. The gold wear out fast but I found if I spray with a protectant they last a little longer. They run a little small but I sized up and they are very comfortable. I wore the gold and the black throughout Europe on two different tours. I was thankful I had them. I would appreciate more colors such as Navy and may be a brown.

Love this shoe
I purchased some very expensive ballet flats and fell in love with the look, but didn't want to spend so much money on more. When I found these shoes I was so excited because I know that Clarks are so comfortable and these didn't disappoint. Please make more for the spring!

After reading reviews, I ordered a half size larger. Normally an 8-1/2, I ordered a 9. Perfect fit. With almost no break-in period (wore them around the house for a few hours), I used them almost exclusively on a 6-day vacation, wearing them for hours at a time walking around a city and to a fancy dinner party (don't wear heels and these shoes were totally appropriate for the occasion). I have a bunion and the shoes posed no problem with it. The leather is beautiful. The shape is very flattering. I couldn't be more pleased. I've bought a second pair and if more colors are added, I'll be buying a third for sure.

I love the simple look. More important, they are very comfy. I bought these flats in black and in gold. So happy I did.

I do love this shoe, however they do not fit true to size when it comes to the length. I went into the store and tried on a half size bigger and there was no difference and I noticed that when I wore them they seemed to suffocate my feet. As far as apparence they are great but a little painful to wear.

Close, but no cigar
This very plain ballet flat is super-cushy inside, and I think for most people it would be comfortable. On me, it rubbed a little bit at the top opening, just below my toes, enough to be painful. The problem might have gone away if I had broken the shoes in, but since wearing them makes them unreturnable, I didn't want to take that risk, and returned them. Too bad, because the cushy inside seemed like it would be great to walk in.
The look is maybe a bit bland--I'm not crazy about ballet flats with gewgaws on them, but these are almost Spartan looking, although the simplicity could be nice with the right outfit. They look uncannily like the Disney Cinderella's shoes when she's in her hearth-cleaning clothes.
I'm glad I listened to the other reviewers and tried a half size above what I normally wear: the shoe runs small.

I initially loved my flats. They are/were comfortable right out of the box. However the color came right out of them. The edges of the shoes are now white and look like I've been wearing them for years. Not ok, for $100 shoes.

Great and comfortable fit out of the box
I asked my husband to buy me a pair of the gold color for Mother's Day. I wore it to work the Monday after and it fit perfectly - no breaking in needed, no raw rubbed on skin at the end of the day, good padding for a regular day in the office. Highly recommended.

Great foot problem/teacher shoe
It's very hard for me to find any shoes that fit because I have had lymphedema (the pitting kind) in both feet (but especially my left foot) since I was 15 years old. I'm now 31 years old and a teacher. Buying shoes is my constant nightmare. I long for the days when I used to be able to wear cute shoes, high heels, etc. I am now confined to only being able to wear shoes that range from flats to, at most, a 2-inch heel. Being on my feel all day, being in extreme cold or heat, and being stressed out make my feet get even more swollen. Obviously, since I'm a teacher now, I experience at least two of these factors every single day. My criteria for finding good "teacher shoes" is that they must look fairly professional, they MUST be comfortable, and they must fit my feet in a way that does not exacerbate the swelling. These Clarks ballerina flats are very good. I was able to put them on and wear them all day. Any time I can take a shoe right out of the box and manage to wear it all day--well, that means it's a good shoe. I'm able to get through my teaching day with this shoe. I wouldn't be able to do a day of walking (say, while traveling) with this shoe--for those kinds of days I'd need sturdy hiking boots or sneakers--but these shoes are great for a professional setting or for going out in the evenings. Let's just say that my feet are UGLY because they're always swollen and they're blue or grey or pink (depending on the swelling trigger). These shoes actually make my feet look pretty cute, especially if they just peek out from under some boot-cut pants or jeans. The support is fairly good--not a sturdy sneaker or hiking boot, but nicely cushioned and soothing to a problematic foot. If you're like me and you have lymphedema in your feet, you know what a cruel curse it is to have feet like that when everyone else gets to wear cute heels and narrow sizes. These shoes can make you feel like everyone else--they're cute and chic, and they make people say "hey, cute shoes!" and not "wow, your foot is swollen...do you need to go to the doctor?" I'm tall and thin and I like to wear cute clothes, so my feet are terribly incongruous with the rest of my body and a big point of self-consciousness. These shoes have helped me a lot with the emotional and physical troubles that come with this condition.
