Order and Payment
Placing an order
When you are done shopping, click Checkout to place your order. You will see all the items in your shopping bag during checkout. To remove an item, just edit your shopping bag. You can checkout as a Guest or Create an Account / Sign In, which will securely store your shipping information for fast, convenient checkouts in the future.
During checkout, we will ask for:
• Your email address and password (if registered user), for security purposes
• Billing information
• The address you want to ship to
• Your credit card type, number and expiration date
• Shipping method
• Any promotional code you would like to redeem
After reviewing your order on the Payment & Review page, simply click Submit Order. We will send you an email confirming your order within 24 hours, and then we will send you another email when your order has shipped. We will not charge your credit card until your order has shipped.
Placing an Order by Phone
You can always call the Clarks Customer Service Team Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm at 800-211-5461, and we would be happy to help you place your order over the phone.
Changing or Canceling Your Order
Once you have submitted your order, we are unable to change your order. Our fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way to you quickly and efficiently.
We accept most major credit cards & Clarks and Bostonian Gift Cards
• American Express
• Discover Card
We will not charge your credit card until we ship your order. However, an authorization will be placed on your card to ensure funds are available and may have an effect on your available balance.
If you pay for your order with a Clarks or Bostonian Gift Card, we will reduce the balance of your Gift Card as soon as you place your order.
International Credit Cards
We can accept International credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) that utilize a billing address within the United States or U.S. Territories, and a shipping address within the United States or the U.S. Territories. We are unable to support the use of international billing and/or shipping addresses.
Credit Card Identification Number
A credit card Identification number is the 3- or 4-digit number printed on the back or front of your credit card, which we require during checkout to provide an additional level of security when you shop with us.
Gift Messages and Receipts
If you would like to include a personalized message to the person receiving your gift, you can type your message in the box provided. We will print your note (up to 100 characters) on the packing slip and send it with your gift. If you indicate that your order is a gift, we will not print the prices on the order form. Additionally, if any gift products are returned, a refund will be provided to the shipping recipient in the form of a gift card.
Tax Policy: Sales tax charges are based on the shipment's destination state and local sales tax rate. States that impose sales tax collection on shipping and handling require that sales tax be applied to shipping and handling when the item is being shipped. Sales tax refunds are issued only on the merchandise. Sales tax on shipping and handling are non-refundable.
Please note that on-screen order totals reflect estimated tax. The actual charge to your credit card will reflect all applicable taxes calculated at the time your order is shipped.
Important Information About Payment
We do not store credit card information or credit card identification numbers. You will be asked to enter this information each time you make a purchase. For additional security, the billing name, address and phone number must match that of the credit card used for payment.
Redeeming Promotional and Discount Codes
Some promotions or discounts will require a code. If you receive a special offer for an online purchase, enter the promo code in your shopping bag or during checkout in the space provided and click Apply. Messaging will appear to confirm if it has been added or if there is a problem.
