U.S. Reopening Plans for Select Locations

We know this has been a trying time for people around the world as COVID-19 continues to significantly impact people’s lives. On behalf of our entire team, we hope this finds you and your loved ones well.

We view our customers as part of our family. We are proud that our shoes mean something special to you. Designed with your comfort in mind, we hope that our shoes can be of some support as we navigate a world that looks different than it did just a few weeks ago.

The health and well-being of our employees and each of you is our greatest focus as some cities and towns across the United States initiate plans to reopen. We are continuing to closely monitor federal, state and local government and public health orders and guidance to assess where and when our U.S. stores will reopen. This process will take place slowly, deliberately and with proper time and support for our store teams.

As part of our enduring commitment to provide our customers with best-in-class service, we are adhering strictly to all federal, state and local requirements for stores and their shoppers. This means that our customers’ experiences may look different, even within the same state. Additionally, we have expanded upon our team’s procedures to include:

   • Enhanced store cleaning schedules;
   • Personal protective equipment for store teams;
   • In-store visual cues to support social distancing;
   • All product returned within our stores will be set aside and remain untouched for at least 24 hours; and
   • We continue to offer contactless payment options in our stores for your convenience.

A special part of visiting a Clarks store is our try-on experience. If you would like to try on any product, our team is prepared to assist you with social distancing practices followed. Additionally, we are requiring all customers to wear socks when trying on shoes in our stores. We will continue to supply disposable Peds for your use if needed. We graciously ask for your patience as our store teams work to serve you with your well-being at heart. We also thank you in advance for practicing appropriate precautions in our stores as well.
